Hello, I'm posting again about the drilling I just bought. The seller says the rifle caliber is 7x57R, but I want to be sure, so will there be any marks on the gun that will confirm this? And if so, what do I look for?

Yes you can tell for sure as most have the caliber punch marked onto the barrel itself. Rarely were these chambers recut without having been re-marked due to the fact that in Germany they would have needed to be re-proofed. If there are no markings a chamber cast can easily be done. If you check out the posting just above, re got Drilling with Pics, you can easily see how the caliber is marked.
