The gun market is quite fickle. There are hard core collector guns in the same price range as "serious shooters". I am not talking about just Model 21s. I own both and am looking to buy and sell more in both categories. I wish I could resist buying in the shooter category, but I just can't seem to do it. The Model 21 is right in the middle of the two categories. Those who blow the gun off have not owned or shot one. The UK critics have probably never seen one.
I have shot one and I still blow them off. They are not my thing and not worth the coin they command. They are not bad guns, but just to bulky for me. If I was into duck hunting or clays then maybe they would be good, but for uplands no thanks. There are far better upland guns out there IMO for that price or less.
