I had the stock on a 20ga Western Arms converted to straight grip--very easy to do, as suggested above, because there's no bottom tang to deal with--and the wood redone and checkered. Made into a pretty nice package. In that respect, they're great guns for amateur woodworkers to play around with.

I also owned an A Grade 20ga. Not as nice as Walt's .410, but quite good condition. I've always liked the looks of A Grades, and like Walt, I wish I'd kept that one.
