If it is marked Long Range it is A Western Arms. not a Western Field.
I edited my post Walt. Wrong Western,, but thinking of the gun in conversation, the Ithaca product.
Question still remains,,would a Nitro Special (straight grip) butt stock interchange with the Western Arms frame?,,or are they different.
..and it does appear to be an easy one to convert to straight grip.
The Western Arms straight grip posted has a higher comb than the pistol grip W/A though.
Maybe they used a Lefever Nitro Special 'A' grade stock instead,,,if they do in fact interchange.
Nice looking shotgun however it made it to that configuration.
