A 30" 16 probably helps you with the follow-thru, too. Unless there's something on that stock out of the picture, I don't think you really mean "Monte Carlo," tho. Looks more like a standard Germanic cheekpiece stock to me. To me "Monte Carlo" indicates a cheekpiece that actually raises the comb, sometimes just a bump that steps down to the wrist, sometimes like a whole dang walnut canned ham (the "California" or "Weatherby" style). (Maybe somebody who really knows this stuff will chime in--if I'm wrong, I've been wrong for 50+ years and it's probably about time to get it right!)
