I never did answer your inquiry but it has 16 bore 65mm chambers and the rifle cartridge is an 8x57 proofed with a steel jacketed bullet with a weight of 13 grams.

What is the tube/barrel length? And what was the pre-rifling diameter, 7,9mm(just above the "57"m stamp)?

Most I've seen had a case hardening effort but it just didn't seem to have much life. Some time earlier a varnish or lacquer was applied over the case colours in an attempt to lengthen the life.
