Gets an awful lot of rounds through it. Great gun. Best guess I have is the Allan is like so many other names--action was probably made and barreled by someone like Scott and then Allan may have stocked it. Just a pure wild guess. They do seem to have "made" quite a large number of guns. John McCain is my war hero.
