Im not looking to offend anyone . I know the people here are vastly more informed on this subject than i am. That is why I came here to ask. I happen to appreciate quality guns and live in a area that has a terrible hog problem. I am looking to use a quality sxs in 12 ga as a slug gun for shooting hogs. The dixie website offeres a 3 inch triball load that has 3 20 ga balls at about 1200 fps that people say are murder on hogs and a heavy hardcast slug of about 730 grains at about 1200 fps. These are what i had wanted to try but the merkel has full and extra full chokes so there is a problem I am looking for suggestions on the safty of doing this and any advice is really appreciated . if there are slugs that are 2 3/4 inch long that have really good performance then i will try that first any help willbe greatly appreciated
