Hi All - Happy New Year!
I would like to get pricing opinions on an Ithaca NID Grade 2 that I am looking at. I realize it can vary wildly without photos. It is a two barrel set with matching serial numbers. Both barrels are 30" and in very good condition. One is IM/F and the other is M/Cyl. One has twin irory beads the other has a single ivory bead. It is tight on face for both barrels. It has a considerable amount of case colors remaining (~70%). The wood is highly figured and in good condition. The only problem with it that I can see it that the stock was shortened. That should be OK for me since I need a longer stock for my tall skinny frame I would put a walnut extension on it and a period appropriate pad. It does have the cocking indicators.
I just got done redoing a field grade NID and I may sell it to finance this gun although I may have to sell my Renato Gamba Hunter Special or Stevens 5100-20 gauge also. Thanks.
