If this were a Parker Brothers shotgun, a set of larger bore barrels on the same frame usually produces a lighter gun due to less available barrel wall thickness available to match up to the action. Since this is my first British gun, I need experiance to tell me what I have. PS: "Sir Henry" the Sidelock looked lonely being the only subject of the Queen in my safe so I indroduced him to Mr. Charles Boswell of the Boxlocks. Other than the absence of drop points I don't think the stock job is too bad. I do think Tony is correct believing it a replacement esp since wood to metal fit is not perfect. Overall, I think Mark has a very nice gun. I know it could have a spot in my gun safe! Socialism is almost the worst.
