Shotgunjones, I appreciate your comment on the DGJ policy of allowing advertising in articles. Not that the historical information isn't appreciated, but the fluff is a serious distraction. How much do you really make on a DGJ article? The Ford Motor Company connection may make things a bit different. However, to his credit, Daniel Cote has not published an article by Stuart Williams for a while and hopefully will never again. Running an article that showcases a double gun business is way different than showcasing Ford Motor Company or a major outfitter, (I think). Personally, I would like to continue to hear about Chaddick's, Steve Barnett, William Larkin Moore and other gun businesses, but a fluff article on an outfitter is best left to another magazine. The Ford business I can get in the Sunday guts.
