Local gun club lad recently sold a high-condition 28" M&F 20 ga Super, RKLT with original Hartmann case for $2500, IMHO a super price. Started marketing at $3500, dropped to $3250; no takers at either level. "Make Offer"-ed sale after that; one of our more savvy members caught him at the right moment and held his mouth right. I'm glad one of us did! KBM

That's more like the real world prices I've saw. I would say a gun with a cracked forearm and a cut butt would be about a third or maybe half of that.

O/U-BCr/cB= $1200 to $1500 with problems corrected by patchwork I'd bump it up to 16 to $1800.
Of course there's allot of suckers for Brownings. Should you decide to sell it you could wait on one of those and then the skys the limit.

When your already paying a lot for a shotgun, why pay for a pad and cracked forearm. Find a butt plate gun in excellent condition and maybe a little more but you won't have tp screw with it and it will always be readily marketable. 28" m/f are not that hard to find in Field grade. -Dick

Usually I enjoy reading about other folks getting nice guns for excellent prices.
