...As I said before it is a very nice gun and very well built. The gun is not off-the-face but it may be a bit harder fitted than it should be. The marks on the flats of the action may could indicate a set of barrel “bouncing” in firing due to looseness but in this case it is my opinion that it is due to other reasons and it would be my guess that it is a bit hard fitted at the top of the standing breech or by the 3rd fastener forcing the barrels down on the flats to a degree greater than it maybe should be. Is this a problem? No! as long as lower pressured ammo is used. In extreme cases the corner where the standing breech meets the flats of the action (water table) the action could crack from being over stressed. I have never seen this happen in shotguns but I have seen this in double rifles that were fired more than average.
