Now that I have discovered this nice forum Dave added to the site.......

A very nice rifle that is outside the usual scope of my shooting interest has come my way.

Any help in possibly putting an ID on the maker, or other information would be appreciated.

One interesting detail I noticed when checking the rifling (spotless) in the bore. The lands are very wide, and each land has a shallow curved groove in the center. I've never seen anything like it, but I have never owned a Schuetzen rifle.
