Hi all, just got a J. Blanch 12b SLE (backaction)that was made in 1887 and was planning on tricking it out. Here are my options:
1) Hi Viz front sight
2) Add a Burris Speedbead (may have to modify the sight)
3) Port the bbls
4) Add a High Vent Rib by Simmons
5) Put a Waffle Style Recoil Pad on it with white spacers
6) Refinish the stock with a high gloss poly finish
7) Hot Blue the damascus bbls for a nice shine
What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Greg

Hot pink for the barrels and stock so your wife has a Barbie shotgun. Greg we've had unseasonably warm weather so far. You need to get out and do some more pheasant hunting.
Practice safe eating. Always use a condiment.

Hey Greg,
Stick some scope mounts on it for those long range goose shots you've been passing on. OR you can just ship the darn thing to me and I'll save you the cost of pimping her out.

.....and Greg, don't forget to lengthen the chambers, backbore the barrels and put release triggers in it so you can use it for trapshooting too.

Welcome Greg to the Blanch Backaction Sidelock Admirers Club. Looks like you broke in the old girl real fine. A lot more fine shoots down the road. Enjoy. Terry
