David, You brought back some old memories for me as well. In fact I hunted in that general area in the early 50s, but don't think the dam was there yet was it? Also hunted the marsh area around American Falls for ducks as well. Same cars were around in plentiful numbers for hunting though - we were the old ball with a 50 Studebaker. Remember running into some old farmer checking his muskrat traps in the sloughs. Wanted to know what our religion was and we had to guess the right answer because he had a shotgun pointed at us. Having given the answer that made him happy he gave me 4 Mallards which had been caught in his traps unintentionally. They helped fill our limits of 15 birds each.
