QTE Weight forward, as a pigeon gun ought to be, yet if feels a half pound lighter than it weighs.

Hmmm. With no reply as yet to my weight of gun question, did some quick internet research to learn that the 1894 in 12 gauge weighs 7lbs 12 oz to 7 lbs 14 oz. I'd expect the metal work on this gun to have reduced that somewhat, but guess we are still in the 7 lbs 4-6 oz range. Sensible for a pigeon gun 'tho more than I normally use for upland or preserve birds... But it's less than my 10 gauge Lefever at over 8 lbs, and much prettier!
Tim, I hesitated to answer earlier BUT since the #27 gun is going to visit me in the next few days before the DSC show I'll weigh it and report back. How does that sound ???

Honestly, I thought it weighed 7.5 lbs but I don't remember.
