The first pic may be a deal killer.

Original thread. Asking $800

http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=256124#Post256124

left bore 4" from breech......745; 3" from muzzle .738; muzzle .694
.......OD 4" .920; OD 9" .825; 20" ..800

Right bore 4" from breech .740; 3" from muzzle .732; muzzle.696

....OD.....4" .916; 9" .830; 20" .798

I saw no pitting external or internal. The bores were shiney but not smooth; had like a ring pattern from one end to the other.

LOP 14 1/8...barrels 30"....1 7/8 dac...2 7/8 dah. 1 1/2 frame I believe

I'd pass based on the erosion on the breech and the "ringed" barrels, which I don't quite understand. My old Parker GH has some pitting in the barrels and has been shortened, but then I have only half or less than $800 in it. Looks like the gun was made in 1913, but I'm a novice at this Parker thing.

Here's more pics. Has the original butt plate and grip cap. Believe it was made in 1905

Based on the current bore diameters, the "ringed" bores may be the result of coarse honing. 12 ga. should be around .729"

Here's a link for Parker serial numbers to help date your gun: http://www.parker-shotguns.com/parker-shotguns-serial-number-and-year-of-production/

And it appears to be a 1 1/2 frame.

Maybe, maybe not. Lots of early Parker Damascus 12s were way over .729 from the factory. .745" is not that uncommon in original barrels, and I think some have reported over .750" on original 12 ga barrels. Murphy?

Here's a couple pics of the tops of the barrels. The damascus is more easily seen on the bottom but just faitly on the top.
