"Nothing to see here....move along....these aren't the 'droid's you're looking for."
I know this is selfish, but could we get this thread, and all others that may appear on this subject, locked down.
Having already bought my raffle tickets, I'm hoping no one else buys any more.
I know that runs against the original purpose but that gun is soooo nice. Just trying to improve the odds.

I've bought a ticket for every gun the ACGG has presented over the last 20 years or so. I think it's my time!

First of all I again want to thank Steve Hughes for the wonderful article in The Shooting Sportsman on the #27 gun. Each of us makers tried to do our "Best" work and the end result is a very very nice gun. I've received a number of phone calls and emails asking how to purchase tickets so here is the link again for anyone interested. http://www.acgg.org/store/firearm-project-tickets.htmlIt should be noted that it was not Steve's responsibility to provide information on how to purchase tickets. That responsibility belongs to the powers that be in the ACGG. Advertisement on this project belonged to the 20th century not the 21st. For that we all all the poorer. If I sound like I'm a little pi$$ed - I am!!!!

Is that shootin' iron going to be at the LV show? Would I be allowed to give it a spin?

SDH,
Parted with a few more than one $20 bill -- sorry about that, Canvasback :-) -- but would be interested in the weight of this very fine firearm.
Congratulations to all who worked to produce such a work of art and function.
Best of the Season, Tim

Gonna cost me a tad more than the $20 WHEN I win this beauty. No sense in anyone else wasting their money on the tickets.

I mosied over and took a look at the rules just see what I see and this caught my eye: The estimated fair market value of ACGG #27 for tax purposes is $12,569.91. The tax liability will be 28% of that amount or $3,519.57 to the winner of #27. Good luck! ~Will

Long as I'm still growing cotton I will lose more than enough money to write off that $3519.57, and the IRS will STILL owe me a refund!! SRH
