Received my new copy of SSM today. S.D. Hughes article on this years' ACGG raffle gun blew me away. I am so glad I entered the raffle several months ago. The anticipation of having even a 1 in 4000 chance of winning that 1894 Remington is worth the price of the ticket. Best wishes to all who enter, and by so doing support America's best custom gunmakers, and a big hats off to Steven D. Hughes, Larry Peters, Pete Mazur, Doug Mann and Kenny Majors for creating a masterpiece over a period of about 5 1/2 years. As Steven's article so eloquently describes, the gun follows a theme, that of early 20th century trap (Pigeon) shooting in every inch, from butt to muzzle.
I await June 23, 2012 with bated breath. I can see me now at the Oct. flyer shoot, walking up to the ring, gun in hand, then dishragging the first 5 straight. Stylin' man, stylin.
