It doesn't hurt my feelings none, the rifle I traded away was a Taurus pump action rifle - so no great loss.

I got my answers and am going to get the barrels looked at (any reccomendations for a good gunsmith in the Salt Lake City Utah area?)
Like I said, if I did pick up an ugly 'tomato stake' then OK, no great loss!
I am (personally) excited that I have a pre-1900 British shotgun.
I am not having delusions of grandeur or anything regarding its value, just seriously wanting a valuation that my insurance will accept in case of a loss. (again).
