Just curious as to the real value so that I know what sort of rider policy to have it insured for. How can I accurately establish this value as well? Or do I have to send it out to get it appraised?

Man what a beautiful old gun you have traded for...(looks like it was originally a very high quality gun).

First thing I would do is send it to Purdey's of London to be totally restored ...(the sky's the limit with this jewel).

Then I would insure it for 60 to 80 grande with Loyd's of London.

Your son will be very proud of this fine gun.
