What was the "$350 rifle"? If it was an SKS or such , I might have made the trade.

I see these posts recommending a "wall hanger."

Rich people who know nothing but get conned by "artists" .When you pay $1,000,000 for it dont matter how ugly it is .But thats not important . Matter of choice or why would people buy Rugers or Range Rovers

Boy oh boy, I wasn't planning to step into this thread, but here I go:

I suggest everyone read this gentleman's original post. He WANTS this gun to hang on the wall.

He never said he wanted to shoot it.

A good clean-up would give him what he basically wants.

If he'd like to "spruce it up" a bit perhaps replacing the hammer(s)and fixing the stock would do it.

I think that this is what the birth of a new double gun fan looks like. My guess is- Will is going to discover the prettier girls at the dance very soon.

Will, If you hang it on the wall, you will display all of one hammer and just a bit of the other,a replaced hammer is irrelevant.
If you wish to shoot it I am sure that you will be able to have the gun checked out with little to no cost.
And really, all the rest is immaterial
