The thing is, there's no way of knowing what this particular gun's potential is until it gets a good hard look at the barrels from a qualified smith. If the barrels are good, then it's probably worth the time and effort to work on the stock and the hammer. If not, then not, and hang it on the wall. The stockwork is probably something that someone with some woodworking skill, proper instruction and tools can do at home.
