Buy it quick.Great "Modern" hammer gun.Good n stout for factory ammo Course its not a fancy handmade masterpiece, but for 600, snap it up, you can sell it for a profit if you don;t like it... My first hammer gun was same.I paid 1000 for mine , & made 200 when I sold it to by a vintage hammer gun I believe they did make a rather fancy hammer gun, the Italia Extra, only seen pic, but looked pretty damn sweet. Anyone have pics of an Extra?? Buy it Franc

V. Bernadelli made very good guns and you couldn't go wrong buying one, especially at that price. Though no longer in business I believe Turkish guns are being imported with his name on them. Also, there were other Bernadellis who made guns but their quality never reached the level of "V".

I was checking around and in my books and only the English stock is mentioned. This one, made in 1965, has a round knob POW which I like.

I have a VB hammer 16 made in the mid-30s that still shoots and looks great. It is identical to the plain "Italia" sold by Stoegers and others later. Open chokes (C/IC) and 25" (more or less) barrels--snipe? Woodcock? Came out of 'way Northwestern Italy. If I could find one for $600, I'd buy it in a nano.

Hi, for $600.00, grab it!!! That's a very good deal. I have an Italia that I use for duck hunting. I had it tubed by Briley for use with steel shot. Just love it! Very well made and does it's job with authority. The wood is pretty plain, but she's a good one.
That one on GB is not a bad deal either. It is tempting. Thanks Bob!!
Good luck on whatever you decide.

Hi, I can't do it. The hammers are also low profile. I suppose it depends on how long your thumb is.
Worth a try!
All the best!
