I can do about 75 yards with plain Jane Remington green flavor slugs in my Bernardelli SxS slug Lusso...I don't use the gun much any more because after I turned about 48 my eyes didn't play well with the open sights. Using a 1x scope on my deer blaster now.
Drillings can be ordered factory regulated to comply with the “Langenhagener Norm” which is a Brenneke sponsored standard for German hunting guns.
From a recent Krieghoff manual...(My 12x12x9.3x74R Plus Drilling)
“Langenhagener Norm”, we guarantee with the ammunition we used for sighting-in a maximum group between rifle barrel and shotgun barrel of 10cm (4”) with over-and-under rifle/shotgun combinations and drillings (one shotgun barrel sighted-in only) with 3 shots from each barrel at 50m (55 yds), and 15cm (about 6”) with drillings and both shotgun barrels sighted-in with rifled slugs.
I have never shot a slug out of my Drilling....But hey you never know it may group well (probably better than I can hold)...and honestly I would not hesitate to do so if the opportunity presented itself.
