thank you very much for your friendly comments and hints. Also, the historical background of the Selvyt trademark infringement case is most interesting. But Im really surprised, that nobody has seen such a tin before. Well, I havent seen such a tin before but I havent seen as many WR as you experts for English doubles here, of course.

Im well aware of this, rest assured! Im lucky enough to have an original manual which came with the gun explaining how to take out the locks. Unfortunately, the small cap (made of rubber?) mentioned and shown in the one page advise is not included in the accessory pack.

Yes, I have photos of the rest. But Ill present the gun not before I will have received a copy from WRs ledger. Although I know exactly, who the first owner was the exact date he bought it is more interesting for me. Just a hint: the gun belonged for 105 years to one family and was bought from the grand-grandson of the first owner just recently. The history is well documented and is not one of the the guy I have it from told me stories..
