Vent ribs on M21 are great--took the words right out of my mouth. Their value has nothing to do with rarity- it just looks "right" on the gun. The same cannot be said on the vast majority of other SxS's
with vents. As well the M21 is the only one that looks right with a beavertail too. Nothing looks more out of place than a Boss SxS with vent, pistol grip, amd beavertail......LOL. I think Niles has a 20 bore that scores a Trifecta in that regard
