Ted, I kept both guns they "pawned" off on me without mentioning the very obvious damage each of them had. I paid top dollar but I wouldn't have kept them if they hadn't sent money back for the repairs. And I agree with o-w-d, it's just the way they do business. Sleazy as it is, it's one way to get a hard to find gun if you don't mind a repaired one and if your final out of pocket expense is some what in line with what you actually got. I'm sure your friend will get an adjustment in price if he indicates he has no problem sending the gun back without one.
