RWTF, on the Ithaca choke numbering system, 4 = full. 3 would be improved modified.
You find some unusual choke combos on some of those guns. I once owned a Flues 16 that was 0/4--cyl/full. One of my current Flues is a 6 lb 7 oz 12ga that is 0/4.

Cylinder and full was actually a very sensible choke combination for an "all around gun" back when paper shells and wads were the norm. I've seen several guns with those chokes, and have one, a 10-bore Rem 1889 with one barrel marked "choke" (full) and the other not marked (cylinder). I was told it was made that way to shoot ball in open barrel. But I often use one skeet choke tube and one modified tube for upland hunting (full is TOO tight with modern shells).

Anyone know of a source for Flues parts, screws and springs? They are great old SxSs, but this one is in need of a lot of tender loving care that I'm looking at.

In addition to the very lightweight smallbores, Ithaca built some seriously husky Flues model doubles --
With some RST 2 7/8 inch 10-gauge shells, it should make a great Turkey and waterfowl gun. The three Flues I have owned have been 12's. 6lb 7oz (28" barrels) 7lb 13 oz (30" barrels) 8lb 9oz (30" barrels)
