Hi folks,

I've finished the Grant #2 of a pair. If you don't remember this is the gun that had quite a bit of pitting on the plates and top tang. Quite a bit of effort to remove, laser weld and then file back and engrave ensued! Anyway, this is the case for the guns and I've used it as a backdrop for the photographs. The gun is from 1907/8 as is the #1 gun. It isn't perfect by any means and the wood isn't quite as nice a fit as on the re-stocked first gun of course. But it "is what it is".

Tailpipe is with the engraver for tweaking..
