The banner photos on each page will be permanent once settled. I'm making some adjustments to these. The Home Page photo is one I can change at will, so I can upload a christmas snowy one or a summer African one etc. I may keep this feature so I can alter it when I want.

Ben, I too draw the line at Victorian sunglasses! Although I have been accused of dressing like a Victorian rent boy! You should have seem my zebra skin fedora in Africa this year, nobody would have their photo taken with me for some reason!

Hello Dig - a quick thought; including a testimonials section for those who have purchased guns/had auction certificates/taking shooting hols with you?
I would be happy to contribute re my 8ga - such a testimonials section gives prospective purchasers even more clarity over your services, and the type of guns you have a strong knowledge of.
Would also be good to have more detail on the auction section, notably developing further your selection of stand-out guns and tracking how the market in general terms seems to be trending?

I know you know the value of photographs, so I imagine you will have those of the guns for sale?
Second, I wouldn't torch the modern outfit with vintage gun photo but I would switch it over to the page where you discuss the firm and your efforts. It is a nice illustration that modern hunters can certainly use old guns.
Likewise, I would somehow utilize the photos of you and any others out on shoots. Not only would you be an ambassador for the sport but there is nothing like seeing the old guns in action.
Second, if possible add a calendar of major events even if you do not plan to attend. It is a small world we inhabit after all.
Third, make sure to have provision for mobile users that will load quickly. There can always be an option to go to the full site but I would emphasize contact information and possibly inventory.
I like the layout and flow that you've set up. If you plan to offer cases or what not, a separate introduction to them is always a good touch. Likewise, other helpful links such as maybe CPSA.

Another consideration would be something that allows updating or timeliness without needing to change much. One suggestion is a sort of diary insert that might list conditions and birds seen or experiences related.
