Hello all, those who may be inclined to share opinions and help, please do so, I'm always grateful for the input I get from you guys.

Post AGL I have been busy and now is time to re-vamp my tired old website at last. Please feel free to take a peek (it is not on-line yet) and make any comments or suggestions you feel appropriate.

I generally think it better to seek opinions before, rather than after a project has been signed off.

BTW, my new book is finished and with the publisher - 'The British Boxlock Gun & Rifle'. Due for release Oct 2012. About the same size and format ast the last effort.

The new shades and camo glove go well with the vintage underlever.

I'm kind of with Homey Joe on this one. You've used many great photos in DGJ articles that are better than the one on the "home page" of your site. Also, don't much care for the photo of the gun with the dragon/angry bird engraving. I'm sure you have access to many more classically engraved guns, which is what I would assume your audience wants.

Excited to hear about your new book. I'll make some room in my gun library for it.

It's looking good to me. Seems easy to navigate. Thoughts for possible consideration: adding a forum for British Gun discussions, a how-to section, an historical section.

Seems to me this is a pretty good forum. Not sure I have anything better to offer in terms of a service here. I will consider your suggestions though and I appreciate them.

I liked the contrast of the 21st century hunter and the antique gun, likewise, the Holland with the dragon engraving. Both images reinforce your stated aim of hunting the old guns and your ability to locate unusual examples.

I've about overdosed on "vintage". I enjoy my old, odd, and unusual, most often in jeans, ball cap and and gore-tex boots. In other words, we're not all trying to reenact or recapture a bygone era...

Hello Dig: Your new website is a much improvement over the old one IMHO. I believe that I would have used the Harry Kell engraved Purdey as the cover gun instead of the rather plain Jones underlever gun, but that's just me. Best of luck with your endevour. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
