Very nice Terry! These dead turnips appear to have fallen on a frozen pond

This has become my favorite thread. Thanks for keeping it light everyone.
Some of these examples are standouts and makes me think I might adjust my collecting objective to assembling the finest collection of flying turnips, long beaked snipe, freaked out mallards and confused, misshapen dogs known to man.
The world cries out for such: he is needed & needed badly- the man who can carry a message to Garcia

Mike's setter is remarkable for a lower grade gun, as is this B grade Baker pointer Baker Paragon pointer Another Paragon with a very nice setter and quail. The curlycues are distracting though.

Egads, dogs with sinus problems, ducks with bowling ball heads, dogs with chests resembling Charles Atlas, critters that I have no idea what they are. Yeech. I'm glad only two of my guns have minimal engraving.
Practice safe eating. Always use a condiment.

Were Lefever Arms Co. and Baker Gun & Forging using the same engraver? W.H. Baker was in Syracuse 1887-1888 then moved west 112 miles to Batavia before dying in 1889. Ilion is 68 miles east, and Fulton just north of Syracuse. Ithaca is south 57 miles.
