OP Toby Barclay Sidelock Joined: May 2004 Posts: 789 Likes: 45 Suffolk, UK	Although it is not truly finished to its eventual specification, the Blanch back-action ejector that I have been restocking etc is ready for use and I hope to put it through its paces this coming weekend. The wood has really come up very nicely and although the chequering needs a bit of tidying and a coat or two of sealing oil, I am very pleased with it. Barrel flats showing the standard London black powder proof marks 1887-96. Classic Blanch 'Improved Snap Bolt'. Note the unusual straight top edge of the lock plates. I have only seen 2 guns exactly like this: one a Blanch double rifle and the other a contemporary H&H Dominion with identical engraving and numbered no.1.
