Assume the deer was taken near your place. Remember growing up and there wasn't a deer in the whole county. I saw my first deer track in "63" while rabbit hunting along the canal, and the first live deer run across the road outside SM's in "65". If my math is right, you'd have been in Jr. High at that time. Must have been exciting to watch the whitetail herd build up around you. What year did you take your first local deer?
