Here's a picture of last fall's Montana pheasant hunting. Left to right, Brad Studer a hops grower and hunter, Don Hardin , a board member, with the first two birds of the season in his 79th year of sharpshooting, myself, my son, Aron, with grandson, Jack Dean. This was Jack's first hunt, sans gun, since he failed his hunter safety course at age 9 months. Since then Jack has been along on quail hunts in New Mexico, and partridge hunts in Saskatchewan. All this in his first 19 months. I'm pretty lucky.
