Funny thing Joe, my golden is the most laid back, mild-mannered dog you'll ever see until you get her out on the hunt, then she becomes focused and all business. I'm not saying she's a great bird dog, if she'd had a more determined partner than me she could have been, but because of me she's a meat dog, but she's my meat dog and I've shot a whole lot more birds with her help than without her help. I've felt so bad for her these last few years not being able to get out hunting more, she went from going out at least once or twice a week all season long, to not even getting out once a season and I really feel bad for her. I hope we both have a great time!
