I got my copy of the McKB book a little while ago and I think that it's probably Dallas' best. Because of the limited timeframe and subject (and the fact that most of the folks described are still alive), he's able to go into more detail and capture the feel of the people and the guns. I am a fan of both and reading the book is like reliving many happy days. Thoroughly recommended to anyone interested in them, absolutely necessary to anyone owning or lusting after one of the guns.
