If it's the same Bill Gillette that ran Big Ridge Gun Shop in Hilton NY & previously Spencerport NY for years, he had a good reputation then doing all sorts of gunsmithing.

He sold that property and moved down South, Followed the Trap, Skeet & SC shoots around doing gunsmithing on site as I recall.
Didn't know he was still at it and had settled down in Fla.

Walt Snyder knows him if it's one and the same.
