buzz, I feel your concern.
I was on a terrific quail hunt bin Texas a couple of years ago with a quality SxS. There was a neophyte amongst us. Every time the Quail rigged truck would stop, he would jump out and swipe his borrowed gun out of its holding place and just miss the holster that mine was in. By the end of the two days, his borrowed gun had several deep scratches in it. Luckily, my gun survived with no real damage.
I didn't really care if I scratched it up, but I didn't want someone else to do it.
