The deals are much harder to find if you have to get them to the U.S.
Looks like they didn't count my bid on the Westley even though I have a receipt that they received it 2 weeks ago.

shipping them in groups is the way to go. I have a good sized shipment coming in next week and am happy with the shipping costs when handled as a lot.

I must have missed something. I have been on Holts and checking out some items. The descriptions are very vague with very little info.
Are you guys having any of this checked out before you bid? What about it Mike from Alaska?
When folks call me about a gun they want lots of pictures, bore specs, choke constrictions, etc, etc.

I can see some flaws in some of the pictures, but not mentioned in the description. I realize that some folks will buy anything with an English name on it. IE: if it comes out of England, it has to be good.

I notice the unsold list starts with a whole raft of two and three hundred pound tired gun cases. Well, no wonder they are unsold, they have ridiculous reserves on them. Don't imply to me that they didn't draw a fifty pound bid. They drew fair bids and the owners refused to let them sell.

Agree. The reserves on most of that lot are mad. I always go and see the guns in person...always...and ask friends like Toby and Dig for their views.
