Tony: Your Greener is beautiful! How does she shoot and how was your opening of duck season? Cheers, Buzz

Very nice, Tony. Go out and use it in good health and add your own "patina".

Greeners are underated for some reason but the work on those fences is marvelous and they made thousands of lower grade guns and all had the same great hand-work and attention to detail. It was craftsmanship on an industrial scale. Now about W.W.'s safety.......

Best,

C.

Aside from the excellent workmanship and open dialogue, you happen to be a remarkable photographer. Few pics anywhere are as instantly as informative as yours are, consistently. I think that is perhaps equaly hard to do, tho I can do neither. Much appreciate your presence and willingness to share your experiences and hiccoughs to our benefit. Not so many willing to go there. Any coming here do because you have.

Also appreciate your stated perspective on aesthetics and I find your choices rather pleasing. Hope the gun gives you good service this season and many to follow.

kind regards, tw

Tony, you're doing a fantastic job, and, just like any do-er, you're vulnerable. One of your biggest strengths is that no matter how good you are, you never stop learning. But a man that wants to learn has to question himself, has to keep asking himself "am I doing this right? do I really understand this?, etc." This implies having a bit of self-doubt, and this self-doubt can act as the Achilles's heel at times. Someone else's remarque can, at a wrong moment, act as a catalyst, emphasizing the doubts to the uncomfortable levels. It's natural. It's human.
A troll, by contrast, can't be hurt like that, but a troll can't do what you do either. But your bad feelings shall pass, like anything else, Take these moments as the small price for the joy you have doing what you do and sharing it.
Sorry if I posted too much or something wrong, but I though I ought to say that. Just can't stand people suffering undeservedly.

Tony, you're learning the truth of something I learned during twenty-two years in the military, reinforced by twenty-three years in civilian society.

"There is no one so hated, reviled and feared as a man who gets things done."

Don't let the ass holes get you down.
