IMO the rifle illustrated with the aluminum block on the side of trhe receiver is definitlely not a Grifflin and Howe. On th other hand the gun shown with the little black tip ahead of the vbarrel band is very likely a Peerless stock but not one actually fitted by Stoeger. A smooth steel stamped buttplate would tend to confirn this.

I assume (yeah, I know) that drduc's .22-3000 Krag is a single shot. Or did G&H have some neat internal magazine for these?

I see the G&H on the action but do not see anything that would lead me to believe that Griffin & Howe had anything to do with this rifle.

I have never seen a G/H marking likethaton a rifle and do not think it was put thereby Griffin and ZHowe.
