I've got a book of matches that was given away at the "Grand Showing" of the 1954 models there at Mulkey Motor Co., where it resided.

Stan--Mine is probably from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Check your door edges for grooves about 1/4 to 5/16 inch wide and deep. This is where the felt is put on mine. If you drilled through the floor and came up with some sort of powder I'll bet it has a lining. I've tried spraying Lysol, baking soda, charcoal and a host of other remedies to get rid of the smell/mildew and nothing works. One day I tossed some old income tax returns in there thinking I would use it for a filing cabinet and about two months later they were green with mold. LOL J.R.B. jerb

Practice safe eating. Always use a condiment.
