Clenzoil http://www.clenzoil.com/ is great stuff as well; smells wonderful. I use it and Ballistol both. If I'm really worried about rust in long-term storage, I use Corrosion-X.

For the outside metal, Clenzoil. For internals, Nyoil II.

Am I the only one who uses RemOil?

It's obviously inferior how?

Wally's has it, it's cheap, a small can for the shooting bag and a big can for the bench.

Nothing I've ever wiped with RemOil has ever rusted.

Clenzoil, used it for 40 years. I am sure there are later products as good but can't be any better.

Thanks for the link Ballistix999, the results confirm that Eezox is indeed superior to other products.

I am really old fashioned

I hate to think where my life would be if not for the smell of Hoppe's #9 to brush the bores, followed by a cursory swipe of Young's 303, with Express oil to finish up, with a smattering of KGun Gun Glide on forend iron on my O/U's
