I have had several guns for sale and so far not hardly a bite. I feel I have them listed at a fair price but still no intrest. They are a Grant, Lang hammer gun, and a Garbi two barrel set. Are 12 gauge guns dead?

I wouldn't call it dead but it certainly seems to be on life support. IMO: It will be interesting to see how the big Rock Island auction fares that's coming up next month. Jim

Wow, that second gun listed is a sweet 16. Putting them up for a no reserve bid is the best way to find out what they are really worth.

On a recent vacation trip I stopped in an out of the way gunshop which is part of my annual circuit. It doesn't handle many of the double guns of interest to this group, but his inventory of rather scarce older rifles was way up. The recession has had a deep impact in that area and the numbers of closet queens being turned in to cash is certainly way up. But that is the reverse of this question - he is a dealer picking up inventory cheap and his racks are crammed. He was quite happy to sell me one of his guns on that day at a favorable price.

Yeah, that out of the way gun shop. I know that place well, just can't think of the name. Can you refresh my memory a bit? I haven't stopped in for a while.
