My 1891 Parker DH has been abused in almost every way. Her Damascus barrels have been cut to 28", reamed big and chambers extended to 3". Parker overbuilt the barrels and, despite the abuse, they still have enough thickness through their length to be safe with low pressure loads. She has been restocked with a straight grip in place of her original pistol grip and a Silvers pad installed.

There is a tiny bit of color under the lever and a bit more, but not much, faded color on the forend iron. None of which resembles Mr. Ed's colors.

Thank goodness all of her previous owners have allowed her to "go grey" with class rather than tarting her up with with colors "SAFELY RESTORED TO NEAR ORIGINAL BRIGHT APPEARANCE".
