Yes, I read the article by Steven Hughes and enjoyed it very much. Nice to know that there are generous caretakers that share knowledge about double guns.

we will have to hope the some younger people get involved in the business of repairing doubleguns.not that Dennis, Mark or Stevie are old.it is nice that the knowledge is being passed on.mc

Very nice article. I've used Mark's services, as well as those of another friend who's attended the Trinidad course I think 3 times, but hasn't as yet hung out his shingle.

Thanks for the nice comments. I just received my copy of the magazine yesterday. The story was a pleasure to write and has been very well received.
I have known Dennis Potter for a couple of decades and he has helped me out, by way of instruction on more than a few occasions. I have also attended Trinidad State and taught Summer NRA classes there and at Lassen in CA. It is a wonderful program although under attended or appreciated at times. Many of the more accomplishes 'smiths have passed on much knowledge through these courses and I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone interested.
