I remember the gun collection very well, used to go at least once a month.. As regards to the Black Country in my original thread, kids cant sing baa baa black sheep anymore its green sheep.

Tony, I am at a loss to understand any potential security concerns developers may have regarding the gun quarter. At last check, the Birmingham City Police head quarters was located on Steelhouse Lane, right in the heart of the old Birmingham Gun Quarter!!! Dose city Council lack faith in the Cities law enforcement capability?

Tony Good work on getting all the signitures to try to combat the "Stupids" I have contacted Jack Rowe and I think he will be on Site to-day. Have several of my US.Clients signing.....Do you have a copy of David williams's Birmingham Gun Trade" For a Non Gunmaker he did a Great Job. I bought 20 copies as gifts to clients with "Brummie Workhorses"..(Most of them also have London "Thoroughbreds". I'm sure you have heard the Quote..."Birmingham Built Guns are the Workhorses, Not the Thoroughbreds!!!!!! BUT they shoot as straight and last as long as their Costly Cousins from London......Dont know who wrote that, but It sure started some fights between some Gunmakers Years ago !!!Keep up the Good Work....dt/CC.

I do have that book and have read it.  thanks for the support. Cheers T PS I've heard they started to take the signs down in the city for the Birmingham gun quarter...I hope this isn't true. I so hope that Tim Huxtable gets booted out next local elections.

I just checked on Amazon Bugger me, me old cocker " $900.00 signed by the Authors We sold them for $28.00.Make sure you are keeping all the Photos and Text together... YOUR BOOK.....Keep your stuff Original....most of these "SO CALLED GUNWRITERS" that have had books published lately are"Soft Skinned Clear-Nail Polished POUFFTERS that think that just because they have spent some time leaning against a workbench and passing a Lock-Part to the Gunsmith..that gives them the"Time-Served" Title for when they have the book with their name plastered on the front.!!!!!!You have quite a following here in the "Colonies" I am getting "Calls",,Do I know this "Brit"...Has not been anyone like yourself doing Good Re-Furbishing using all the traditional( Dare I say Birmingham Methods"....Keep Well my Young Gunsmith, You might be the last of the Breed".....trevallion C/C
